8 of the Best Blockchain Conferences to Attend in 2020
Blockchain conferences, much like blockchains themselves, have proliferated in recent years. It’s a far cry from when the first bitcoin conferences sprung up in 2013, and were attended by a few hundred devout believers at best. Since 2017, an explosion in the number of crypto conferences has meant you don’t need to travel far to meet like-minded souls for a weekend of learning, networking, and partying. Not all blockchain conferences are created equal, however. While some will enlighten and entertain you in equal measure, others will grate with their uninspiring keynote speakers and shilling of low-grade projects.
The following blockchain conferences are strictly of the former variety, serving up insights from thought leaders and crypto luminaries, with plenty of scope for networking and generating business. If you’re contemplating a blockchain conference in 2020, the following events are worthy of your time and money.
Baltic Honeybadger 2020
Tickets sell out fast for the annual bitcoin conference in Riga, Latvia, organized by HodlHodl exchange. The prestigious conference comes with a commensurate price tag, though – tickets start at $1,499.

Korea Blockchain Week 2020

South Korea is the setting for a week-long event in June that will bring together the region’s movers and shakers. Korea Blockchain Week runs from the 15th-21st at the Grand WalkerHill Seoul. More than 4,000 attendees and over 50 speakers will make this one of the largest and loudest crypto events of the year.
